Grab A Conscious Cuppa At Bettr Barista’s First Coffee Bar

Lesley Teoh

What if you could change someone’s life through coffee? It's easier than you think. Come grab your very own conscious cuppa' at Bettr Barista's first retail outlet, located at the DBS Bank - SCAPE Branch along Orchard Road.

We spoke to Tania Chew, Head of Marketing and Communications, Bettr Barista to find out more.

What can people expect at Bettr Barista's new coffee bar?

Tania: Great coffee and friendly baristas! Our baristas are excited to bring our Bettr brand of service to town, so come in and have a chat and let us serve you a Bettr cuppa.

The best part is, your coffee is a purchase with a purpose - every cup you enjoy at our coffee continues to support our social programmes.

But, we're not just all about coffee. We also serve a range of teas, non-caffeinated beverages and light snacks.

What's your favourite coffee that you'd recommend to customers?

Tania: You can't go wrong with our signature Bold Heart house blend (prices range from $3 for an espresso to $6.50 for an iced mocha). It's an easy-drinking blend that packs a feel-good punch that will power your morning (or afternoon!)

And we've got special opening offers for those who work at SCAPE and in the surrounding shopping belt, as well as DBS/POSB cardholders (see T&C below). We've also introduced a loyalty card for true-blue caffeine fiends.

There's a lot of good that goes into a Bettr cup of coffee so we hope many people will come support us and help spread the word!

Bettr Barista trains women at youth at risk to become baristas, then upskills them so they can find stable jobs in the specialty coffee industry. Watch this video to see how our DBS Foundation grantee, is changing lives through coffee, one cup at a time.
