VIDEO: The Big Issue Taiwan (Portraits of Purpose)

Published in four continents, The Big Issue is a street newspaper that is supporting the homeless and vulnerable, and helping that break the poverty cycle. The social enterprise sells the magazines to the to its vendors at a discounted rate, which in turn are sold to the public with profits going to these vendors. 

In Taiwan, the publication is making a profound difference to the lives of it's vendors by providing a viable alternative livelihood for them. Watch the video below and hear the candid stories of Taiwan's homeless and watch the video to find out how The Big Issue is bringing hope and dignity to their lives.
